Japan: focusing on the fundamentals

With global markets declining, led by rising inflation and interest rates, how has Japan fared? Whilst not immune to higher food and energy costs, core inflation in Japan actually remains anaemic.  

Sophia Li, a Portfolio Manager with FSSA Investment Managers, believes current economic conditions should not deflect investors from the fundamental attractions of the Japanese equity market. Nor should it be a reason to change approach to stock selection.
